Clindamycin is a lincosamide antibiotic that works by inhibiting the growth of Propionibacterium acnes (now called Cutibacterium acnes), a key bacteria involved in acne formation. Adapalene, a third-generation retinoid, normalizes skin cell turnover, reduces blackheads/whiteheads, and combats inflammation, making the skin clearer and smoother over time.
