MALICLAV-DS is a powerful broad-spectrum antibiotic suspension specifically designed for pediatric use. It contains a combination of Amoxycillin Trihydrate (400mg), a widely trusted penicillin antibiotic, and Clavulanic Acid (57mg), a β-lactamase inhibitor that enhances its spectrum of activity against resistant bacterial strains.

This double-strength formulation (DS) is indicated for treating a wide range of bacterial infections in children, especially where resistance to standard amoxicillin has been suspected or confirmed. The formulation provides excellent tissue penetration, high bioavailability, and rapid symptom relief.

MALICLAV-DS is prescribed in the management of:

• Upper respiratory tract infections
  (Tonsillitis, Pharyngitis, Sinusitis)

💬 Dosage and Administration (Informational Only)

Always follow the pediatrician’s recommended dose. Typical dosing:
25-45 mg/kg/day of Amoxycillin component, divided every 12 hours, based on severity and weight.

Shake well before use. Use the reconstituted suspension within 7 days. Store in a refrigerator and discard unused portion after expiry.
